More Shooters

The "Steel Plate" Shoot Saturday August 12 was busier than
normal.  It seems the word is spreading.  With 30 registered
shooters and quite a number of spectators it was a busy day for 
the volunteers at the event.  The bad news is the shooters had a
long wait between their turns on the course of fire.  ( The pistol
committee will look into what may be done to decrease the wait
time, and we thank all the shooters for their patience.)
The course of fire was definitely a challenge this time, with 
fencing for obstructions and a longer than normal distance
from start to finish.  The course did not slow down Carl Deering,
as he made the fastest pass at 15.13 seconds followed by Buck
Osterberg and David Carlisle with 17.87sec. each, followed
very close behind by Jeff Wiersma with 19.05 sec. Great
times guys! I would like to thank all the folks for coming out and
thank Scott Larabel for commandeering the tents, the shade was
appreciated by all.
