It was another hot and humid day out
there on the course, but the shooting
was pretty steamy also. We had some great scores, and some not so
great. But
the main themes were to be safe and have fun! I think we
accomplished those.
You guys are getting much better on keeping your finger out of the
trigger
guard when you move through the course. But it's something that you have
to keep
working on until it's automatic. But don't worry, I'll be there to
remind
you every step of the way.
We had some great times on the El Presidente course, but again there
were a lot of misses that kicked the scores way up. Slow down a little
bit and
watch that front sight and you'll be pleased on how much better
your times
will be.
I want to thank Rady, Kevin, Bob, and Larry for helping me run the
match. You guys make this a fun time. Special cudo's to Bob and Larry
who I
pleaded with to help, since we were short handed. It's amazing
what you can get
people to do when you have tears in your eyes and some soulful begging.
Thanks
a lot guys.
Hope to see everybody again at our next match on August 13. Remember to
watch that front sight, and practice safe gun handling techniques.
