It wasn't a bad turnout considering the weather
we had that day. It looked like the skies would open up any time
in the morning, but fortunately it only drizzled for about a half
hour. We had eighteen shooters show up to test their skills
against our plates. Hopefully, everybody had a good time,
regardless of how you shot.
The zig-zag course was a little different then
what we normally stage, and we got a lot of good comments on it.
So plan to see it again this summer. The El Presidente had some
really fast scores in the beginning, but adding all those misses
made the result not quite as good. Remember folks, watch that
front sight! Shooting fast doesn't mean crap if you don't hit your
target.
I want to thank all those who helped put on
this match. Without your help, it couldn't go on. I really appreciate it. Hope to see you
all in June. Keep safe, and shoot straight.
