Inclement weather

The club will be closed on 1/29 and 1/30 due to inclement weather. The board meeting scheduled for 1/29 @ 7pm will be re-scheduled to 2/5 @ 7PM.

2019 Annual Sportsman’s Banquet

Save the date…. On Saturday, March 23, West Walker will be holding their annual Sportsman’s Banquet.
Once again, we will be raffling off an extremely outrageous number of guns, as well as plenty of other prizes.
Seats are limited to 240 and last year was sold out, so purchase your tickets as soon as possible to insure you have a place for this fun filled evening.
Orders postmarked by March 1st will be entered into the Early Bird raffle for a gun. More details will be coming soon.

2019 Sunday Rifle / Pistol Range Hours

Due to staffing shortage, Beginning March 1st , Sunday range hours will be 10:00AM-2:00PM. If we are unable to staff 10am-2pm. The range will be forced to close on Sundays. Cupid's Pistol Partners Fun Shoot

Saturday February 16, 2019 3PM
Cost for the shoot is $10 per person -- Members only (this includes spouses and minor children of members)
All Calibers Welcome, All Reactive Targets, NOT PAPER
Bring your pistol (any non-rifle or non-magnum caliber, iron sights only please) and 50 rounds of round-nosed ammunition (no hollow-points / wadcutters please). Join us after the shoot at the clubhouse for Awards, Prizes and Dinner. Dinner will be: Hamburgers, French Fries, Baked Beans and Dessert.
Sign up at the range office, clubhouse, or call (616)453-5081. Signup Deadline is: Sunday February 10, 2019. No money will be collected at sign up, but food will be bought according to these numbers so please take your registration seriously.

2019 Big Gun Raffle

Tickets are now available for the 2019 Big Gun Raffle. Tickets are $60.00 and cover all 12 raffles. Tickets will not be prorated, so purchase early to make sure your name is in the drawing for each of the 12 months.
Only 300 tickets will be sold !!
You do not need to be a member to purchase a ticket (these make great gifts).

Tickets can be purchased at the Range Office (open 7 days a week) and Shooting Desk. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Drawings are the last Tuesday of each month. Winners are notified by phone and listed each month in the newsletter.


Range Monitors Wanted

West Walker Sportsman Club is looking for range monitors to check memberships on the rifle & pistol ranges in four to six hour shifts. If you are retired or have free time during the daylight hours and share an interest in promoting a safe shooting environment, please contact Fran Handy at handy35676@gmail.com. These are voluntary positions. Qualified monitors will receive free annual membership renewal.

Fill Dirt Needed

The club is always in need of clean fill dirt and/or sand. If you know of anyone in need of dumping a lot of fill, please contact us at 616-453-5081.
