Third Annual .410 Trap Tournament

Saturday August 5th and Sunday August 6th 10AM - 2PM
100 Birds shot from the 10 yard line. There will be no registration fees or other costs to enter. Just shoot 4 lines of trap wth your .410 from the 10 yard line on Saturday or Sunday. Highest score gets their name on the plaque hanging on our wall in the shooting room.

Alien Invasion Fun Shoot

Saturday August 26, 2017 3PM
Cost for the shoot is $10 per person -- Members only (this includes spouses and minor children of members)
All Calibers Welcome, All Reactive Targets, NOT PAPER
Bring your pistol (any caliber, iron sights only please) and 50 rounds of round-nosed ammunition (no hollow-points please) and help defend our planet from alien planets, rockets, space ships and the aliens themselves! Join us after the shoot at the clubhouse for Awards, Prizes and Dinner. Dinner will be: Saucers (burgers), asteroids (beans), worm holes (pasta salad) and moon pies.

2017 Big Gun Raffle

Tickets are still available for the 2017 Big Gun Raffle. Tickets are $60.00 and cover all 12 raffles. Tickets will not be prorated, so purchase early to make sure your name is in the drawing for each of the 12 months.
Only 300 tickets will be sold !!
You do not need to be a member to purchase a ticket (these make great gifts).

Tickets can be purchased at the Range Office (open 7 days a week) and Shooting Desk. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Drawings are the last Tuesday of each month. Winners are notified by phone and listed each month in the newsletter.

Range Monitors Wanted

West Walker Sportsman Club is looking for range monitors to check memberships on the rifle & pistol ranges in four to six hour shifts. If you are retired or have free time during the daylight hours and share an interest in promoting a safe shooting environment, please contact Don Mize at 616-334-3246. These are voluntary positions. Qualified monitors will receive free annual membership renewal.

Fill Dirt Needed

The club is always in need of clean fill dirt and/or sand. If you know of anyone in need of dumping a lot of fill, please contact us at 616-453-5081.
